Emler Swim School plans to open its 25th Texas location in the Katy area at 6823 S. Fry Road, Katy, on May 4, according to a press release. The business offers over 20 swim classes for children and adults. The new 4,900-square-foot location will have a 4-foot-deep, saltwater pool that is heated to 90 degrees.


According to a March 31 Facebook post, all locations of Emler Swim School are closed through April 30 to adhere to the guidelines from the White House and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The chain plans to reopen May 2. 855-232-2006. www.emlerswimschool.com/location/katy/
