Children’s Lighthouse of Nottingham opened in an 11,000-square-foot facility on 1.7 acres on Nov. 4 at 20225 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, according to a press release. This location is owned and operated by locals Andy and Allisa Hovis. “We were drawn to Children’s Lighthouse because of the fantastic educational curriculum, its emphasis on character development and the fact that it encourages employees to focus on the heart of the child,” Allisa Hovis said in the release.
