Kinokuniya Bookstore began soft opening events Oct. 14 at 23330 Grand Circle Blvd., Ste. 140, Katy, according to a press release. The retailer sells books, magazines and stationery from Japan, including manga, graphic novels and anime. The Katy location is 4,000 square feet and includes a maker space for events, such as workshops and lectures.
