Katy residents can help raise money through Flock-A-Friend, a social distancing fundraiser hosted by Christ Clinic to support health care.

The Flock-A-Friend fundraiser allows residents to pay $100 for 25 plastic flamingos or $200 for 50 flamingos to put on another person’s lawn for 24 hours. To avoid receiving flamingos, participants can pay $50.

Christ Clinic offers health care to the uninsured or underinsured in Harris, Fort Bend and Waller counties.

Keller Williams Signature partnered with Christ Clinic to host the fundraiser that began May 15. Money raised by June 26 will help underwrite patient contributions and supply costs related to COVID-19.
