The Fort Bend County Commissioners Court approved the early voting schedule and locations for the 2020 Republican and Democratic primaries at the Jan. 14 regular court meeting.

Early voting runs Feb. 18-28, and election day is March 3.

Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers said it has been challenging to find early voting sites, especially in the Katy and Fulshear area.

“It’s turning into be a real challenge,” he said. “We only have four locations in my precinct. We’ve got 30% of the vote and 15% of the locations. I know that [County Elections Administrator John Oldham] has been working diligently, as my staff has, and it’s a little challenging finding some places. And if we find one, we’re going to bring it forward and modify the sites in the schedule.”
