As the new editor for Community Impact Newspaper’s Katy edition, I would like to introduce myself. I was previously senior reporter for our Sugar Land/Missouri City edition, and am so excited to now be leading the Katy editorial pages. If you have a story idea or question, my inbox is always open at [email protected]. Whether in the city proper or the unincorporated areas, if it is happening in Katy, I want to know about it.

I will ensure we continue to write reliable coverage of the community’s residential and commercial development, such as the update on the new Asian shopping hub on Page 15.  I am committed to covering both community pillars like Katy ISD on Page 23 and new arrivals in our Impacts section on Page 6. This is a wide locality, so I appreciate feedback from readers like you who may see things we do not. We are also planning future opportunities for readers to meet with me and other Community Impact Newspaper staff members. Stay tuned!
