Sept 9: Watch "Remember the Titans"

The Katy Parks and Recreation department will host an outdoor showing of the 2000 film “Remember The Titans” as part of its Katy Summer Nights Movies in the Park series. Sept. 12: Golf for a cause

Guests can join Joe Joe Bear for the annual Golf Classic to support the purchase of new teddy bears for children with life-threatening illnesses in the Greater Houston area. Joe Joe Bear is a Texas-based children’s nonprofit organization that aims to provide comfort for children who are facing life-threatening illnesses by giving them teddy bears for emotional support. Sept. 16-17: Start holiday shopping
