Locally owned business Funtastik Labs will host a day of activities for children ages 2-16 who love science. There are many things to do, including slime-making, canvas painting and Lego robotics. May 6: Celebrate Mexico

Dexter Small and Dorsey Distributing will host a rooftop dinner in celebration of Cinco de Mayo at the Bowery House and Garden. May 7: Watch a horse race

May 8: Celebrate mothers
