April 8: Yoga on the Green

Yoga classes will be held every Friday at 9 a.m. Bring a mat, a towel and a bottle of water. Samantha Walker has been teaching yoga for 10 years and is a 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Walker has taught at various gyms and studios throughout Houston since 2012.

April 8: Breakdown Band HTX Live at Central Green Park

Central Green Park will host Breakdown Band HTX this weekend. The Breakdown Band HTX was formed in 2014 by their manager Ant Boogie as a tribute to Prince, his music and related Minneapolis musicians. Not only does the band perform songs by Prince, but also by Sheila E., Jesse Johnson, Morris Day and The Time.

Feb. 9: Baskets & Bunnies

Katy Parks and Parkway Fellowship present a fun-filled morning that includes an egg hunt, Easter Bunny photos, crafts, a petting zoo, bounce houses and a virtual pet adoption.

The event is open to all ages, but the egg hunt is for children in grades 1-5.

April 9: The Princess Picnic

The Princess Picnic will take place at Central Green Park with Ana and Elsa from Frozen. Guests are encouraged to pick up food to-go from their favorite restaurant and join the picnic. On stage will also be local students from Pointe of Grace performing dances.
