Registration to vote ends on April 6. Early voting will commence later that month April 24 and end May 2.
In Katy, the three positions up for re-election include council member at-large and one council member for Ward A and Ward B.
These positions are currently occupied by Ward A Council Member Janet Corte, Ward B Council Member Rory Robertson, and At-Large Council Member Chris Harris.
Corte is the only incumbent running opposed for her position.
The four seats up for re-election in Fulshear are the District 1, District 4, District 5 and at-large council positions.
The at-large Position 1 seat is currently held by Kent Pool. The District 1 seat is held by Sarah B. Johnson. Joel Patterson heads District 4, and Kaye Kahlich leads District 5.
Kaye Kilich did not file an application for re-election. The incumbents in each of the other positions up for re-election, however, will run unopposed in the upcoming May election.
