What would be your three priorities if you were elected?

My top three priorities would be the following: Hold the Biden administration and Democrats accountable for their failures on the economy, COVID, Afghanistan, and the border; Continue supporting the men and women of our nation's law enforcement by ending the left's defund the police movement and promoting reforms in our criminal justice system to provide second chance opportunities for non-violent inmates; And continue my work on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to address local infrastructure issues. Further, as Ranking Member of the Veterans' Affairs Subcommittee on Disability Assistance & Memorial Affairs, I will continue to promote legislation that improves the lives of our nation's veterans and their families.

We have a lot of diversity and a lot of development. What will you do to ensure that all of your constituents are represented with Fort Bend County as diverse as it is?

I have always held an open-door policy with my constituents. Citizens deserve to know they are being heard by their elected representative, I remain committed to listening to the concerns of all of my constituents and keeping those concerns in mind while performing my legislative duties.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge if you are elected?

Under a Biden-Harris presidency, our country has moved backwards. From their open-border policies, to the failure to control COVID, to the international embarrassment of Afghanistan and record-setting inflation, America under President Biden and the Democrats is weaker, less respected, and less safe. The biggest task Republicans face once we take back the House is getting our country back on track. We need strong leadership to take on the global threats coming from China, Russia, and Iran and to get Americans back to a place where they feel safer and more prosperous. Republicans are up for the challenge.

What would be your three priorities if you were elected?

The top three priorities would be - Putting new restraints on the federal government to protect individual liberty. Fighting for a Balanced Budget Amendment and strong fiscal management to ensure our financial future is not jeopardized by reckless politicians. And lastly, aggressively combating China and the scourge of globalism. We sacrifice our citizens in the pursuit of cheap material and labor, at the cost of slave labor, genocide, and environmental destruction u2013 it is morally unacceptable.

We have a lot of diversity and a lot of development. What will you do to ensure that all of your constituents are represented with Fort Bend County as diverse as it is?

I will be best able to represent constituents because I have no intention of being a career politician, nor cozying up to special interests. I will actively pursue policies that limit the undue influences on Congressional leaders and government. I have signed the US Term Limits Pledge and support limiting individual stock trading for Congress members. Citizens need to take back Congress from career politicians and their Special Interest handlers to have their voices represented.

What do you think will be your biggest challenge if you are elected?

The biggest challenge will be advancing legislation that President Biden will sign. Legislation must be morally clear, supported by the majority of the country and it must fit our values as a party. From term limits and ending individual stock trades for Congress members, to ensuring the solvency of our social programs, and passing Mandatory E-Verify, there are many policies that meet these criteria. The Republican Party needs to prioritize these policies with President Biden.
