UPDATED: Katy ISD extends school closure through Feb. 18

Katy ISD will remain closed Feb. 17-18 as power outages and dangerous road conditions persist in the area following wintery precipitation earlier in the week.

During the closure, both in-person and virtual learning are canceled.

Katy ISD will be closed Feb. 16 for all students and district employees, according to a Feb. 15 press release from the district.

In-person and remote learning are canceled, the release said.

Additional information regarding the rest of the week will be provided as it becomes available, the release said.
