Katy ISD police have arrested a suspect in relation to a social media threat to Paetow High School and Stockdick Junior High, according to a 6:43 a.m. email sent to parents from the schools’ principals.

An image of a student holding a hand gun with a semi-automatic gun laying on the floor circulated on social media, according to the email. The post featured direct threats to both schools. Police began investigating May 9.

Maria DiPetta, the manager of media relations and multimedia for Katy ISD, said in an email that the individual arrested is not the same individual who is in the photos.
