Westpark Tollway/FM 1093 extension


Westpark Tollway will be extended west from the Grand Parkway to west of the Cross Creek Ranch community in Fulshear. Phase 1 of the project is on schedule while Phase 2 mainly focuses on FM 1093, which will be a two-lane frontage road in each direction. Contractors are finishing the concrete pavement and lines for toll lanes. Crews are preparing the ditches around the frontage roads and mainlanes.

Cane Island Parkway extension


Two lanes of concrete road will be constructed on Cane Island Parkway between Willow Fork and FM 1463 as well as a new concrete bridge and channel improvements. Crews are building a 600-foot-long bridge foundation and installing a storm drain to widen from 2 to 5 feet in diameter. Crews have also begun grading work for the new road.
Timeline: July 2017-April 2018

Spring Green Boulevard roundabout project


A four-legged roundabout will connect two existing segments of Spring Green Boulevard, Katy Flewellen Road and Cinco Trace Drive. Crossover Road will be realigned to intersect Spring Green Boulevard north of the roundabout. The project has been delayed while the county acquires rights of way, however, ROW is expected to be finalized by late November. In December, a nearby gas pipeline will be relocated and road construction will start in mid-January.

Franz Road


Franz Road from Avenue D to Reston Falls Lane is being relocated and widened to a four-lane boulevard. Franz Road Phase 1 and construction of a bridge over the Cane Island Branch were substantially complete as of early October, and the new road is expected to open from Avenue D by mid-November. The original portion of Franz Road between Avenue D and Reston Falls Lane will be renamed Franz Court.
