If you are looking for somewhere new to eat in Katy, here are several restaurants that have recently opened as well as some that are soon coming soon.

NOW OPEN

Old Chicago
has reopened its location at 24515 I-10, Katy. Old Chicago is known for craft beers, Sicilian pepperoni rolls and Italian nachos. 281-347-0090. www.oldchicago.com

Dim Sum Box opened a location at 1223 Grand West Blvd., Ste. B107, Katy. The restaurant offers more than 30 menu items, including shrimp and pork dumplings, as well as red bean sesame balls, fried shrimp egg rolls and baked golden egg yolk lava buns. 832-835-0981. www.dimsumboxkaty.com

Ziggi’s Coffee opened a new location on Oct. 5 at 1417 FM 1463, Ste. 110, Katy. This drive-thru coffee shop offers a variety of coffee and tea, as well as Red Bull infusions, blenders, and smoothies. The Halal Guys opened its Katy location Oct. 2. Located at 23703 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. B, Katy, the restaurant originally started as a food cart in 1990 and serves gyros, falafels and hummus, among other things. COMING SOON

Gauchos Do Sul will open a new location at 902 W. Grand Parkway S., Katy, in January. The traditional Brazilian steak house features rodizio-style service and a gourmet salad area. The Katy location will be the third Gauchos Do Sul restaurant, with the other two in Vintage Park in Houston and Highland Village in the Greater Houston area. 832-953-2398. www.gauchosdosul.com

Pucci Café is coming to LaCenterra at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd., Ste. N200, Katy, in November. The luxury pet boutique will also have a cafe, which will offer coffee, beer, wine, teas, human snacks and treats for pet owners. The shop also offers designer pet accessories and spa products, and a portion of Pucci’s proceeds are donated to dog rescues. 713-391-8500. www.puccicafe.com

Orleans Seafood Kitchen will be launching a second location at 6230 FM 1463, Fulshear. The 5,418-square-foot restaurant will offer a 1,385-square-foot patio. The dining room seats 118, with 58 seats in the full-service bar and 48 on the patio. The new location will also have multiple televisions in the bar and patio area.

Pho Binh is expanding to Katy and will be located at 25621 Nelson Way, Ste. 130. Pho Binh will be located within the retail center Katy Main Street. It is moving into the suite previously occupied by frozen yogurt chain U-Swirl. Pho Binh's Katy outpost is slated to open in December or early 2022. http://phobinh.com
