VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa will build a third Texas location in the Katy area at the Stableside at Falcon Landing this summer, according to a press release. The other two VillaSport locations are in Cypress and The Woodlands.

The resort-style spa and gym club marks another major anchor lease in the Stableside at Falcon Landing commercial project, which is currently in phase two of construction, according to the release. The resort-style club offers fitness advisers, personal trainers, kids’ camps, sports leagues, weekly classes and a full-service spa and nail salon as well as a café, which are open to the public, according to the release.

Construction on the 90,000 square foot building will start this summer and is expected to last 15 months. Located at the intersection of Gaston Road and Falcon Landing Boulevard, the amenity-driven family gym and club is stationed nearby the Cinco Ranch neighborhood.

“We have always known that VillaSport would be a great anchor for the right retail center, and we’ve found a great setting in Stableside at Falcon Landing,” said VillaSport CEO Joe Syufy in the press release. “This location has the right concentration of people and growth for our family-focused, community-oriented concept.”

Amenities at the future VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa include NBA regulation-size basketball courts, group studios for spinning, yoga, pilates and TRX workouts, as well as 120 cardio machines, a full lineup of workout equipment and a 12,000-square-foot kids-only club.

Other amenities include indoor and outdoor pools with 25-yard lap pools, co-ed whirlpools, waterslides, a water walk, zero-depth entry areas and an adults-only pool area with a bar, fire pit and whirlpool spa lounge, the release stated. www.villasport.com
