Work is progressing at the nearly 1 million-square-foot Katy Ranch Crossing retail center. The six-year-old development is part of a mixed-use site encompassing office space and a 318-luxury apartment complex.

Property Manager Ed Friedman of Freeway Properties said most of the Phase 4 construction—the final phase—would be complete by mid-February. Two exceptions are the free-standing structures along Katy Fort Bend Road between Integrity Bank and the Texaco station.

Friedman said Tropical Storm Harvey delayed construction by a couple weeks, but no structures were damaged. GlowZone, Taco Cabana and Navy Federal Credit Union are signed and are scheduled to open in 2018, according to Evergreen Commercial Realty President Lilly Golden.

The fast-food Mexican cuisine chain and banking institution will open in the summer while GlowZone will open in the first quarter of 2018. GlowZone is an indoor physical challenge course, arcade and playground.
