It’s been cold and the days have been dreary. Break the winter blues by getting out of the house for some live music, help out Katy High students, receive some legal assistance, visit a museum or play Poke’mon and board games. These six events will help readers blow off the cold front.

Skinny Kravitz at Agave Rio

Multi-Family Rummage Sale benefitting the Katy High School Color Guard
The Katy Tiger Band’s color guard hosts a multi-family rummage sale this Saturday to raise money to help the varsity winter guard travel to the international championships in Ohio for the first time in 17 years. Free legal clinic for victims and survivors of domestic violence
Legal Resources for Victims and Survivors of Domestic Violence hosts this event to help those who have experienced domestic violence understand their legal situation. Tour historic Katy homes
The Katy Heritage Society offers tours of the historic restored homes at Katy Heritage Park in downtown Katy. Poke’mon at The Gaming Goat
Stop by the local game shop where kids and adults can play Poke’mon. All skill levels are welcome to play and staff can teach newcomers the game.
