Election day is Saturday, May 5
The Katy ISD board of trustees will fill seats 6 and 7. Three positions are open for the Katy City Council, and
several drainage and sewer system bonds totaling about $20 million are also on the ballot.
Fort Bend Commissioners to meet this week
Fort Bend County commissioners will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the historic courthouse in downtown Richmond. Items on the
agenda include approving several engineering payments for mobility bond projects and taking action on an interlocal agreement between the county and the Houston-Galveston Area Council for participation in a regional DWI task force program.
Harris County Commissioners to meet this week
Harris County Commissioners will meet 10 a.m. at 1001 Preston St., Ste. 934, for a regularly scheduled meeting. Items on the
agenda include accepting a $13 million grant request by the Flood Control District to the Texas Department of Public Safety for a flood risk reduction project.
