Monday


Katy ISD board of trustees meet
The board holds a workshop meeting 6:30 p.m. at 6301 South Stadium Lane, Katy. The board is expected to formally receive a $609.2 million 2017 bond proposal from the district's bond committee. The board has until August to vote on whether to hold a bond referendum inNovember. The full meeting agenda, available online, also includes items regarding a health care update and setting a public meeting to discuss the 2017-18 school year budget and tax rate.

Tuesday


Fort Bend County Commissioners Court meets
The court holds regular agenda and drainage district meetings at 1 p.m. in a second-floor meeting room at 401 Jackson St., Richmond. Regular agenda items include approval of payments for mobility bond projects in Precinct 3 along FM 1093 and Westpark Tollway, and along Bellaire Boulevard. The entire agenda is available online.

Typhoon Texas movie night rescheduled: "The Jungle Book"
Due to a private event Thursday, the waterpark at 555 Katy Fort Bend Road, Katy, rescheduled its weekly family movie night to Friday. As of July 15


Two-way traffic partially open on Morton Road
As crews continue to widen Morton Road between Katy Hockley Road and Katy Hockley Cut Off Road, the city has announced that, as of July 15, two-way traffic is open on the roadway. Eastbound traffic is entirely open between Katy Hockley and Katy Hockley Cut Off roads, while westbound traffic will be directed to turn left at Carson Drive. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of July, according to the city.
