Stream Realty, the developer and landlord for the property, declined to comment on the date in which the electric vehicle manufacturer and clean energy company plans to move into the Empire West Business Park, located at 111 Empire Blvd., Brookshire.
However, Brookshire’s interim City Administrator Mike Barnes confirmed the city issued a certificate of occupancy to Tesla in October 2021.
At a Jan. 7 Economic Development Corporation meeting, Barnes said the second phase of the Empire West development had been completed and also mentioned Tesla and H-E-B as tenants at the business park.
According to Barnes, an H-E-B distribution center and warehouse that will occupy a 300,000-square-foot space is planned at the park. www.tesla.com
