Preowned car dealership to mark first location in Katy in 2023

CarSquad, a preowned car dealership from the Florida brand Off Lease Only, will open its flagship store in Katy on Jan. 5.

Its location at the northwest corner of I-10 and Grand Parkway, next to Memorial Hermann Sports Park, will have the capacity to hold up to 1,500 vehicles—making it one of the largest dealerships in the Houston area.

The 15-acre site will be home to a 21,000-square-foot building, consisting of a sales floor and detailing center. Customers can buy, sell or trade preowned vehicles online or on the lot with the guidance of experts.

COO of Off Lease Only, Alan McLaren, said in a Nov. 14 statement that at CarSquad, attention to customer care is a cornerstone of the brand.

"Our process and experience are different from those of any other dealership," McLaren said. "We put the customer in the driver's seat, right at the center of the car-buying process, providing them support and autonomy as they browse our huge inventories. CarSquad exists to empower every driver on their journey to finding their perfect vehicle."
