Altitude Trampoline Park-Katy opened July 22 at 24952 Katy Ranch Road, Katy. The 34,000-square-foot facility has a number of different trampolines as well as related equipment, such as dodgeball courts, battle beams, foam pits, a trapeze, a rock climbing wall, basketball dunking lanes, tumble tracks and a kids zone. Cartz opened in early April at 1330 Pin Oak Road, Katy. The business sells a variety of street-legal golf carts. Products include four- and six-seat carts, carts that look like off-road vehicles and futuristic bubble cars. 281-394-2525.

Integrity Bank opened a branch in early September at 808 Katy Fort Bend Road, Katy. A local community bank founded in Houston, Integrity specializes in providing banking services to small and midsize community businesses. Katerra Exotics opened a brick and mortar location Sept. 28 at 5627 Third Street, Katy, to serve as a complement to its farmers market business. The company raises some animals at its ranch in the Katy area, locally sources others and sells the meat at four local farmers markets. Meat offered includes bison, goat, chicken, beef, lamb and wild boar. In addition to its grass-fed and pasture-raised meat, the business also retails other local foods at its new store, such as produce, salsa, nut mixes, jellies, dried fruit and artisan cheese. 281-665-2525.

Kingdom and Wheels, at 25757 Westheimer Parkway, Ste. 190, Katy, opened April 19. The business features a 3,000-square-foot skating rink, and the skate center offers birthday parties, skating classes, Zumba classes, open playtime and snacks. Potter’s Brush, at 5215 FM 1463, Ste. 100, Katy, will open by mid-May. The business lets customers pick pottery and paint it with all of the necessary materials provided, including stencils, pencils and stamps. Store employees provide assistance and once the ceramic is painted, the studio glazes and fires the pottery. 281-392- 2324.

9. Classes began Sept. 21 at the
Simon Youth Academy at Katy Mills, located at 5000 Katy Mills Circle, Door 7, Katy. The roughly 5,000-square-foot space was previously a mall storage area but now serves as a continuing education facility for high school students pursuing their diplomas. The academy was built and leased by the Simon Youth Foundation and is operated by Katy ISD. The academy also added KISD’s Martha Raines High School to its network, giving the company 29 locations in 12 states. 281-396-6050.

The Rustic Mile opened a location on July 23 at 24539 I-10, Katy. The business sells furniture items and accessories for a variety spaces, including bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, media centers, offices, bars and the outdoors.
