The total number of homes sold in seven Katy- and Fulshear-area ZIP codes declined in June compared to June 2023.

There were 631 homes sold in seven local ZIP codes in June versus 846 for the same month last year. It was also less than in May, which saw 683 homes sold.
All local ZIP codes saw the number of homes sold decline year over year, with the biggest decrease in ZIP code 77423 with a 42.86% decline. Of the total 631 homes, homes in the $250,000-$449,999 price range sold the most frequently, with 353 homes sold—followed by 152 homes in the $450,000-$649,999 range.

Despite fewer home sales than last year, the median home sales price increased in five out of seven ZIP codes. The highest increase was seen in the northwest Katy area in the 77423 ZIP code with 20.58% year over year.
Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market decreased in five of seven ZIP codes, with homes selling quickest in ZIP code 77094, with an average of six days on the market for the nine homes sold. Homes spent the longest on the market in ZIP code 77493, in north Katy.
