The number of homes sold in Katy- and Fulshear-area ZIP codes decreased or stayed the same in December 2023 compared to December 2022.

The biggest decline was in ZIP code 77084, which saw a 44% decline year over year. Overall, 537 homes were sold in the ZIP codes in December versus 685 last year at the same time.Overall, the average number of days homes spent on the market declined in most ZIP codes, but increased by more than 20% in the 77450 ZIP code.Meanwhile, the median home sales price decreased in six of eight local ZIP codes. The 77094 ZIP code near the Energy Corridor saw the biggest drop in the sales price by almost 37%.
