The city of Fulshear’s leadership team has been completed with the hiring of Kelsee Jordan Lee as assistant city manager, city officials announced in a Sept. 26 news release.

The overview

Lee’s position was previously held by Zach Goodlander, who was promoted to city manager on Aug. 20 after former City Manager Jack Harper was fired in February.

In her role, Lee will focus on the public works department, which includes parks and recreation, facilities, streets, drainage, traffic and the capital improvement program, according to the release. Additionally, she will oversee economic development and finance.

Most recently, Lee served as the planning and economic development director for the city of Cibolo, according to the release.

She has also served as a Steele High School Career and Technical Education advisory board member and on the International City/County Management Association SheLeadsGov committee.

Additionally, Lee holds both a master's and bachelor's in business administration from the University of Incarnate Word, with certificates in project management and economic development, according to the release.
