Sahaja Yoga Meditation

This instructor-led meditation session at the Katy Branch Library will offer holistic healing that includes stress, anxiety and depression relief. Mats are not required.

Katy Family Day

Home Run Dugout will host this all-day summer kick-off event for Katy-area families. It will feature live music, face painting from 4-7 p.m., a bounce house and wiffle ball.National Dino Day and Gem Mining

Local veterans organization The American Legion Post 164 and its auxiliary group will host this all-you-can-eat breakfast at the Katy Elks Lodge to benefit its programs.First Street 5K

This run through the streets of Old Town Katy starts at No Label Brewing Co. and finishes with a souvenir pint class and four 8-ounce tastings from the brewery’s taps. Food trucks will also be available on-site.

Swiftie Crafts & Trivia Workshop

Attendees will build and paint their own Taylor Swift-themed boards and play trivia bingo at The Rustic Brush arts and crafts studio. Snacks and treats will be provided, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own libations and come dressed in their favorite Swiftie accessories.
