Looking for things to do in Katy and Fulshear? Check out these six events happening in these neighborhoods in late January and throughout February. This list is not comprehensive, and details are subject to change.
Paranormal Cirque
This show at Katy Mills mall fuses the circus with theatre and cabaret with a dark, horror-themed twist. Children 12 years and younger are not permitted to attend. Attendees between ages 13-17 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Active adult living community Alders Cross Creek hosts this festive brunch to celebrate the Year of the Snake. Residents and their guests will be provided with food, drinks and activities. Attendees are encouraged to wear red to bring good luck and prosperity.

Saddles & Sequins Gala
This fundraising event is sponsored by nonprofit Family Hope Fulshear, which provides food, furniture, education, financial assistance and special events to families in need in northern Fort Bend County. The country-meets-couture-themed event takes place at Beckendorff Farms and will feature a buffet, open wine bar, auctions, boot shining, boot scooting and live music.
Comedy group Joke House takes over restaurant Scholars & Scoundrels for this night of laughs. The event features a variety of comedians, including headliner Malay Vyas and feature acts Cody Walker, Joe Jones and Dee Wallace. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
University of Texas alumni organization Texas Exes Houston and Katy chapters host this 46th annual fun run, featuring a 5K, 10K, kids' K and 5K walk. The race starts at the Cane Island Community Center and follows a double loop route within the Cane Island community.
