Community Volunteer Fair

Dozens of community organizations in the Katy area will come together at the Maud Smith Marks Branch Library to explain their services and recruit volunteers.

The Growler Spot’s 10th Anniversary Party

This local bar, which highlights craft beer and wine from small vendors, celebrates a decade of business in August. The anniversary party will feature a specialty tap list, collaborations with local breweries, branded merchandise and barbecue.Fort Bend County Pride Festival


The newly formed Fort Bend County Pride organization will host its first-ever festival. The event will have live entertainment; exhibitors; an art car show; a kids zone with a gaming truck and soft play area; a seniors corner with bingo; word puzzles and coloring sheets; and sensory-sensitive areas for people who are neurodivergent.

Limited Edition Art & Antiques will host the monthly Katy Market Day at the historic downtown square. It features more than 100 local vendors, a foam and inflatable park, and food trucks.Adrian’s Taco Experience

Students can taste a smoky mezcal, learn to make salsa and tortillas, prepare the toppings and meat for tacos, mix a classic margarita and indulge in churros in this cooking class at local Mexican eatery Adrian’s. This event also features Mexican music and dancing.Ginuwine and Sisqo

These R&B artists will take to the stage at Home Run Dugout for a concert. This event will be hosted by local comedian Billy Sorrells. Bottle service will be available in the suites, batting bays and VIP tables.
