Big Z’s Chicago Pizza & Brew is set to relocate in Katy.

What’s happening

The Chicago-inspired pizzeria closed its doors Jan. 28 at its original location at 2004 S. Mason Road, Katy, owner Bob Zincoris said.

Founded by Zincoris and Tony Perry, the restaurant opened in October 2019, according to a Dec. 19 Facebook post announcing the relocation.

On the menu

According to its website, the eatery serves Chicago-inspired specialty pizza including the:
  • Chicago Favorite with sausage, mushrooms, onions and green peppers
  • Belly Buster with Canadian bacon, pineapple, jalapeno and sauerkraut
  • Leep of Faith with pepperoni, italian sausage, jalapeno, mushroom and onions
The menu also includes meatball and nacho appetizers, Greek and Italian salads as well as alfredo and spaghetti pastas.

Notable quote

“Our hope for this new location is to have a fresh start, do better than the day before and ultimately see some new and old faces enjoying our recipes and atmosphere,” Zincoris said in the post.
