Whataburger, the big orange and white Texas-based fast-food chain, is set to open in a new location in Fulshear.

Whataburger officials confirmed the Fulshear eatery in an email to Community Impact but said they do not have an opening date to share quite yet. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction on the new $2.5 million location will begin June 1 and will conclude by Dec. 1.

The restaurant offers a variety of burgers, chicken options, fries, shakes and a breakfast menu with sandwiches and taquitos.
