Cheba Hut, a sandwich shop with a “toasted” sub concept, opened a new restaurant in Katy on Nov. 13.

The restaurant was founded in 1998 by Scott Jennings and has two other locations within Houston’s inner loop.

Its menu features more than 30 sandwiches, including the “Jamaican Red,” a buffalo chicken sub with jalapeno, green bell pepper, black olive, cheddar, lettuce, onion, pickle and specialty dressing. There’s also a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and snacks to choose from.
