The $33 million project is a public-private partnership between Harris County Housing Finance Corp. and the developer, according to a news release from Palladium USA.
The HCHFC creates affordable housing opportunities for Harris County residents and is run by a commissioner-appointed board. Harris County provided $5 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds for the 93-unit project, per the release.

The details
According to the release, the three-story development will feature:
- One-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans
- A swimming pool
- A fitness center
- A conference center and business center
- A dog park
- A children’s playroom
- A clubroom containing a mini kitchen
Of the 93 units, 58 units, or more than 62%, will be reserved for those who make less than the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metro area’s median income, according to the release.What’s next
The clubhouse and first units will open in December, TeTom Huth, president and CEO of Palladium USA, said in the release.
