A Walmart Supercenter in Katy celebrated the completion of multiple customer-centric renovations on Nov. 1, according to an Oct. 30 news release.
The details
Remodeling efforts began on June 16, a representative for the Katy Walmart said in an email. Its features included a mural and updates to several departments around the store, per the release.The renovations include:
Upgraded cosmetic section with high-end fragrances
New coolers for infant foods
Updated wine and beer selections
New counters
The Nov. 1 ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed community partners and residents, according to the release. Local nonprofit David's Toys—which collects funds to acquire toys, games and similar items and donates them to pediatric cancer patients—was also presented a $2,500 check toward its operations.
