Home Run Dugout completed its $2.7 million expansion project in Katy, and now plans to open two more locations, per an Aug. 15 news release.

The details

The expansion includes an additional 9,242 square feet of space to the north side of the 46,000-square-foot venue, behind the Biergarten Baseball field. The sports-themed entertainment venue also added 10 batting bays, bringing the total number to 22, according to the release.

Each of the bays are equipped with 20-by-15-foot screens, five televisions and pitching technology, per the release.

The project began in April, just one month after the Katy location's first anniversary.
