Woman- and veteran-owned brewery Project Halo Brewing relocated to a larger space at the end of March, just down the road from its original taproom.

The details

Co-owner Steve Mendez, who runs the brewery with his wife, Melissa Mendez, said in an email that Project Halo moved to accommodate demand from the local community. The business hosted a grand re-opening on April 20 to celebrate in the new space.

The brewery has new games and amenities, such as pinball machines, large fans and air conditioning. The space remains kid- and dog-friendly, Steve Mendez said.

"We moved into a larger space to increase taproom space, amenities and production space to increase brewing capacity," he said.

Something to note

Revive Cafe will soon open in Project Halo's old space at 6520 FM 359, Ste. 500, Fulshear. The Mendezes opened the brewery in October 2022.
