Woodforest National Bank opened a branch in the Katy H-E-B off Mason Road.

The location offers a full-service bank with staff and ATM services for shoppers as well as others.

This is the third H-E-B retail branch for the bank system, with the other two locations in Conroe and Magnolia, according to a news release. The Montgomery County-based bank was founded in 1980 and now has 767 branches across the U.S., with 90 branches in the Greater Houston area.

The community-focused bank has donated more than $23 million to charitable organizations throughout the communities it serves through Woodforest Charitable Foundation, officials said in an email.
