Current President and CEO Don McCoy has been involved with the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce since its inception on Dec. 4, 2013. For ten years, the organization has offered marketing, networking, advocacy and a suite of products and services to local business owners—including an AI-based back-office system to help promote their companies.

Quote of note

In the last decade, the opportunity to aid in the area's development as a representative of its businesses has been the most rewarding part of the job, McCoy said.

"Most notable have been the fast growth, the ability to be a vital resource to the business community and the community at large," McCoy said. "Also, being at the forefront and a guide when we dealt with Hurricane Harvey and the [COVID-19] pandemic."
