Organized by the Creative Arts - Open Youth Department, the event will accept submissions from applicants ranging from ages 5-18.
Aspiring artists will have the chance to exhibit their pieces and compete in various categories, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media. Participants will be divided into four age groups to ensure a fair and engaging competition, according to the website.
Exhibitor entry packets will be made available from Sept. 1 onward, providing participants with all the necessary information and guidelines to prepare their submissions. Those interested in taking part can request their packets by contacting [email protected].
The timeline
The competition's dates are as follows:
- Sept. 1: exhibitor packets available
- Sept. 26th: open youth exhibits check-in from 3-6 p.m.; judging starts immediately following
- Oct. 8: checkout from 11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
