Katy ISD is scheduled to open the 2023 varsity high school football season on Aug. 24 at Legacy Stadium, 1830 Katyland Drive; and Rhodes Stadium, 1733 Katyland Drive.

New KISD clear bag policies for district football venues can be found online here, and a brief description of permissible bags are as follows:
  • Clear, plastic, vinyl or PVC bags
  • Clear, plastic, 1-gallon, Ziploc-style bags
  • Clutch bags approximately the size of a hand (4.5 inches by 6.5 inches)
  • Medically necessary items
A complete list of prohibited items can be found online here, including the following:
