Katy ISD board members will consider several items on their consent agenda in the July 31 regular board meeting.

Meeting highlights

• A possible announcement of a public meeting regarding the proposed tax rate
• Recommendations of the Community Bond Advisory Committee bond package
• Making provisions for school bond elections administration
• July budget amendments and May financial statements

The board will also hear updates on other topics and consider items, including student and staff standards.

Also on the agenda

• A student discipline plan and student code of conduct for the 2023-24 school year
• An update on the redesign of the district’s literacy framework for elementary students
• A new district professional development plan for 2023-24

KISD regular board meetings are open to the public and are held in the Katy ISD Education Support Complex, 6301 S. Stadium Lane, Katy, starting at 5 p.m.
