Austin-founded burger joint Hat Creek Burger Co. will celebrate its 15th anniversary with giveaways and promotions throughout the month of September.

Hat Creek has three Greater Houston-area locations—one each in Katy, Fulshear and Spring.

Guests who purchase any combo meal from Sept. 1-4 will receive a free 9 oz. birthday cake shake. Additionally, those who follow Hat Creek’s Instagram account and tags the brand in a "throwback: photo taken within the last 15 years will enter a raffle for a year’s worth of free food from Hat Creek.

Originally a food truck established in 2008, the fast-casual burger brand is known for the quality of its food, its family-friendly environment and its community efforts, per an Aug. 28 news release.

On the menu

The burger brand offers vegan, vegetarian, gluten- and dairy-free options, such as a paleo burger bowl, crispy chicken cobb salad, tater tots and its cookies and cream shake. The website lists 13 sandwich options that include:

• The Big Hat: a double meat burger dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickles diced onions and mustard.
• The Pretzel Jack: two beef patties topped with pepper jack cheese, pickles, avocado and honey mustard and served on a pretzel bun.
• The Turkey Burger: a ground turkey patty topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions.
• The Fredericksburger: a double meat hamburger dressed with American cheese, spicy sauerkraut and Hat Creek’s Happy Sauce.

Hat Creek’s menu also features kids meals, beer and wine, and breakfast meals at select locations with pasture-raised eggs from Vital Farms.
