Fulshear City Council will interview council member applicants and hold preliminary discussions for its upcoming fiscal year 2023-24 budget, according to agenda documents.

The overview

City Secretary Kim Kopecky said City Council will hold at least two prospective council member candidate interviews at the upcoming meeting.

After the former holder of the District 3 City Council seat resigned mid-term, the council opened applications for the role and may appoint an applicant at the upcoming meeting depending on the interviews, Kopecky said.

Additionally, the council will only discuss the details of the FY 2023-24 budget and will likely not pass it until September, she said.

What else?

Fulshear City Council will also consider the approval of three Tamarron West plats and an update to the Tamarron Master Sign Plan, according to agenda documents. A preliminary plat in Jordan Ranch could also be approved.

Finally, the council will consider a “mutual permanent equipment loan agreement” with Fort Bend County’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
