A 38,000-square-foot Bridgeland location of Cypress Academy opened Aug. 8 at 16710 House and Hahl Road, Cypress. The academy offers programs in gymnastics and tumbling for children of walking age up through high school. The new location launched to help alleviate demand at Cypress Academy’s original location on Huffmeister Road, owner Aaron Basham said.

The gym is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, gym manager Kelly Stewart said. It offers the same standard of coaching found at the Huffmeister Road location, she said.

"We're super excited to be reaching more of the Cypress community," Stewart said.
