Total closure of I-69 southbound at 610 Loop planned for Aug. 2-5

The Texas Department of Transportation will close all southbound main lanes of I-69 from Chimney Rock Road to Weslayan Street this weekend, the latest closure in the ongoing I-610 interchange project.

The lanes will close at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5.

During the closure, crews will be working on the foundations for a new connector ramp from I-610 southbound to I-69 northbound, according to TxDOT.
