New retail center on Washington Avenue picks up tenants

Washington Central, a retail center under construction at 4015 Washington Ave., Houston, has signed on several tenants and is 50% leased, according to commercial real estate firm NewQuest Properties. Natural Pawz, Lash Lounge and Super Cuts will have a presence in the 13,000 square-foot project, which will have two sides of storefronts, one facing Washington and the other facing the neighborhood. "We're holding out for a prime restaurant operator for the hard corner," NewQuest associate Nick Ramsey said in a release.
