After just over a year building a loyal food-truck following, the local, family-owned Twisted Grilled Cheese will open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant Nov. 21 at 5555 Washington Ave., Houston.

The 2,300 square-foot restaurant will feature a full bar and patio seating options along with its gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, which feature a range of flavors and fillings.

New offerings will include an expanded selection of sandwiches along with new vegetarian options, gluten-free bread, loaded fries and desserts. Bar service will include custom cocktails with a twist and boozy "adults-only" milkshakes.

The Twisted Grilled Cheese food trucks will continue to operate at Power Center Food Truck Park, Galleria Food Truck Park and Foodie Trucks Park. www.twistedgrilledcheese.com
