Aug. 10: See a Hitchcock classic at Buffalo Bayou Park
Friends of River Oaks Theatre and the Buffalo Bayou Partnership team up to host a free screening of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." The show will be preceded by a chamber music performance of music from Hitchcock and other films by the W7 Duo. The event will also feature a photo booth, a guest speaker expert to discuss the role of birds in the film, and concessions available for sale.

The First Saturday Arts Market and The Market at Sawyer Yards combine for a one-day, indoor market called BAM! Art Market. The markets will feature work from local artisans across multiple genres and styles, including fine art, oil, acrylic, watercolor paintings, ink work, jewelry, photography, ceramics, soap, candles, metal arts and woodcraft as well as cottage food items, such as infused teas, chocolate and jams.

Night Court, an all-lawyer theater company, performs the group’s annual, original musical comedy. The show “The Law Files” will include themes and characters from “The X-Files,” “Stranger Things,” “Men In Black” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” and feature the greatest hits of the ‘80s and ‘90s.
