Trillions of microbes make their homes inside human bodies, and a new exhibit aims to introduce guests to the complex world inside humans. Moody Center for the Arts is hosting a family-friendly community event that includes an indoor local market, food and drink vendors, and art activities for all ages.July 15-16: Learn how to oil paint


The Conroe Art League will host an intro to oil painting class for teens. The class will include how to use supplies, understanding the fundamentals of oil painting, color mixing and color application. Participants will also paint a landscape or still-life oil-based painting with the guidance of a teacher. It is open to ages 15-18. Supplies will be provided.July 15-16: Bridal Extravaganza Show

The Bridal Extravaganza Show, the largest bridal planning showcase in the U.S., will return to the George R. Brown Convention Center featuring fashion shows, cakes, gowns and local vendors. The show will feature cake samples, decor, flowers, fashion shows, a gown gallery of over 200 wedding dresses, multiple Instagram walls for selfies, speaker presentations on the latest bridal fashion and trends, and entertainment from Houston’s top wedding professionals.
