Feb. 19 Celebrate the start of rodeo season


Shane Smith & the Saints, The Steeldrivers and Zac Wilkerson will take the stage as Karbach Brewing Co. celebrates the start of rodeo season. A VIP ticket provides access to a special entrance, beer tasting and a viewing deck, among other perks.

Feb. 26: Take part in the Tour de Houston

The bike race benefits Re-Plant Houston and the city’s reforestation efforts and is hosted by the Mayor’s Office of Special Events. It entails three races: a 60-mile ride, a 40-mile ride and a 20-mile ride. Riders will be able to enjoy food, beverages and music after the race.

March 4: Check out annual heights crawfish boil

The event, hosted by the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce, features beer, crawfish, local vendors, a children’s area and live music by Step Rideau and the Zydeco Outlaws. An Idol of the Heights contest also takes place.
